KUALA LUMPUR, 7 November 2019 – Yayasan MRCB has completed repair works amounting to RM35,000.00 at four schools in Semenyih and Hulu Langat. The four schools are SMK Bandar Tasik Kesuma and SK Bandar Rinching, both schools are in Semenyih and SK Lubok Kelubi & SK Dusun Tua are located in Hulu Langat.
The repair works for the two schools in Semenyih included contribution of chairs and tables for several classrooms and student toilets. As for the two schools in Hulu Langat, the repair works included refurbishment of the school library, paint work, donation of chairs and tables for several classrooms and OKU toilets. These facilities would benefit at least 1000 students from the four schools.
Datuk Shamrat Sen Gupta, Trustee of Yayasan MRCB officiated the newly refurbished facilities at SK Lubok Kelubi, Hulu Langat, witnessed by the teachers and students.
“With these contributions, the OKU students can use the toilets facilities at SK Dusun Tua with ease as they do not have such facilities before and SK Bandar Rinching has a newly refurbished student toilets. And SK Lubok Kelubi students can fully enjoy the newly refurbished library as well as new tables & chairs for several classrooms in SMK Bandar Tasik Kesuma and SK Dusun Tua schools ”, said Datuk Shamrat Sen Gupta.
He added, “These contributions will help improve the facilities at the schools for the benefit of the students. At Yayasan MRCB, we strive hard to ensure that we continuously identify impactful causes such as these and undertake various programmes to support needy students to enable them to improve and forge their career paths in the future”.
